- 絵本らしくない意外な展開に、おとながじーんとくるシリーズ。これは映画化(アニメ化)もされているようですね。絵本としては、話が長いのですが、読み終わった時、息子が静かだから飽きて寝ちゃったかなと顔見たら、まさかの目に涙をためてまっかっか。「寂しくなったー」だって。こんなに子供の心に響くとは！ストーリー性のある絵本として、3歳の息子が泣いた初めての作品です。
